Mongezi Bolofo is an isiZulu Language Practitioner, Academic, Writer and Teacher. He leads the activism that advocates for African indigenous languages to be used as languages of teaching & Learning. He has takes on business on their sidelining of African languages. He writes about linguistic rights and language as a tool of freedom and development. He holds a BSoc Sci majoring in Media and Communications and isiZulu. He also obtained and Honours in isiZulu. Currently Mongezi is pursuing a Master of Arts in isiZulu. His reserch interest is in Language Planning and Applied Linguistics. He is a consultant that assist business and government on language policy issues.
